Mama's Losin' It: Haiku This!

So, I found a new blog that I absolutely LOVE, and I'm telling you that you should definitely go and check it out. It's called Mama's Losin' it - I saw the blog title and knew I just had to check it out. Now I'm hooked.

Anyway, this post is part of a fun little challenge she's got goin' on. The assignment is to write a haiku about what you see out the window. And, if you're like me, and you didn't pay attention in 10th grade English, click here for the definition of a haiku. Onward!

I can't see too much
It's nine oh nine o'clock now
Yep, it sure is dark

I know, I know. You're jealous of my sweet haiku skills...

    I am with you. I can't believe how early it gets dark now. Here it is like 6pm and pitch black outside.

    I'm impressed that you can write a Haiku... I can't! Wish it was Summer so at 9:00 it wouldn't be dark already!

    Hey, thanks for all the compliments. Seriously, it's just a bunch of BS though, don't fool yourself in to thinking that I REALLY have haiku skills. I had to keep counting the syllables on my fingers to make sure I was doing it right...

    That's actually pretty funny!! It was the same reason I didn't do the Haiku cause it was late out. I like what you were able to come up with though :o)
