Snowed In

Well, our wish came true. We're sittin' at home enjoying our snow day. They haven't even touched our roads yet, so we'll be keeping our cozy little selves inside for a while.

Kaylee wasn't exactly thrilled with the snow. Maybe next year.

I know, I know. You are jealous of my ability to create such beautiful writings in the snow with one of these bad boys.

We don't have a sled, so we just got creative with a giant storage tub. Hey, it worked. That little multi-colored poof in the corner? That's Kaylee's head.

sorry, but these photos are hilarious. poor kaylee... no wonder she didn't like the snow, she probably thought she was being taken out to the trash (but excellent improvisation with the tub, i must say). and then forcing her to lay in the snow. i am laughing as i type this. that last one is so precious, though. worth torturing her for a bit.

Geeeez! I'm glad you didn't have a sled! Kaylee probably would have flown off if Dennis took a corner too fast!

I love the photos. The one where all you can see is the top of her head cracked me up. Glad you had fun on your snow day. At least your snow day brought snow. Our last snow day if you recall resulted in sunny skies and warm weather.

I totally loved these photos! So funny! She looks like she is stranded in the middle of the Arctic in the one! And the little poof sticking out ... so funny! And love the snow writing! Looks like you guys made the best of it!

Crazy! You got all that snow and we have 70 degree weather and a tornado warning. Right now, I'd rather have the snow.

wow, I wish I could still get excited about snow but up here in the frozen wasteland that is Ontario the drifts and banks are way over my kids heads and I just want it to GO AWAY already! Next time you want a snow day just ask and I'll send you a few truck fulls.

LOL this is a great post. I'm waiting to see what kaylee has to say about this when she's 20 years old though :D

So cute. I love that you can barely see her in that giant storage container.
