Oh, what ever will I do?

Psssst...

Guess what?!?!

Tommorrow my mom is taking the day off work and watching Kaylee for me so I can have a chance to watch the episodes of Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy that I DVR'd tonight.

Wait, scratch that! I did not just say that!

She's watching Kaylee so I can get some stuff DONE around here tomorrow. Like the laundry, the dishes, blah, blah, blah. Plus, she needs some Kaylee time, and I had a helluva day yesterday, so it's really a win-win situation.

I'll be sporting my brand new, very first apron, just so I feel all domestic-like. Ha ha ha. I might even take a picture of it so you can see how sweet it is. My BFF found it hiding behind some other ridiculously ugly aprons at Ross, and I scored it for something crazy like 6 bucks. It's awesome. You're going to be jealous.

So, anyway, head on over here at some point on Friday so you can find out what I really did with my time.

Only time will tell...

I keep forgetting to apron shop...maybe if I look fabulous, I'll actually feel like cooking/cleaning!

Enjoy your day even if it is cleaning. It is so much easier when no one is home. I want to see the picture of you in the apron!

Oh, I'm so jealous!!!!! Enjoy every minute - you totally deserve it after yesterday!

Sorry I haven't been around lately. Between Noelle being sick and our crazy trip, it's been hectic around here! But I try to read just before bed and your blogs are always GREAT for a smile and pick-me-up! :)

Hey Ruth - I really hope she's feeling better! I'm glad you've been liking the blogs.

I tried to take a "before" picture of my kitchen, only to realize my camera batteries were dead - GRRRRRR. So, I'm going to raid the house for some more while those charge.

I'll attempt a picture in the apron. We'll see if it works.

I'm off! Be back later with a post about the day. I'm so excited I can't even TELL you how excited I am. :)

9:37 a.m.! Wow, Girl! You must have driven home like nobody's business! I think you left from yer Mom's house at 9:30 a.m.! (Doesn't it usually take you 15 minutes to get home from here?) You ARE excited!

I hope you have a great time today. You totally deserve it! Kaylee and I have been tearing it up around here. We were so active that I just put her down for a nap. She's wasted! It's hard work crawling after a cranky old cat all morning! We'll see if she gives me a few minutes so I can down some chocolate.

Yep, my idea of a great day - some Grandma time with Kaylee and some chocolate. Whoo Hoo! It's a great day for all of us, Sera.

yer Mom

Hmmm...I'm such a dork. I can't even figure out how to sign this blog!

Yo Mama!

I don't think I ever put the right settings for the time on here. It's an hour off. I left your house at 10:02 - that's what the clock in my car said. So, it was 10:37, not 9:37 when I posted that.

So, Yay for nap time!

Things here are good. I'm tearing it up, just like Kaylee. Making some good progress. I'm just sittin' down for a quick break right now. But since you mentioned chocolate I think I'll go find some of that.

Oh, and about signing it - if you want to put anonymous, just select anonymous like you did. If you want to put your name, click on the part that says Name/URL and I think you should be able to type in your name.

I'm so happy you commented. Now I will be expecting more comments from you - you know that, right?

Love you. Thanks for letting me have a time-out today.
